This design was chosen for both performance and aesthetics. The roof area was at an ideal pitch and faced south and the array was installed centrally on the carport area both on width and height.
This 3.76kWp array was made up of 16 x 235watt Romag panels and was coupled with a Diehl Inverter.
These works required a planning application which we undertook on the customers behalf as the property is situated in the beautiful Heytesbury estate and so within the curtilage of a listed building
Roof space was limited with this project and prior to designs being agreed calculations were undertaken to ensure that a front of roof system would not be subjected to excessive shade issues.
Following these initial investigations it was agreed that would use most of the available space on the south east facing section of the house roof which fitted in perfectly and looks very neat.
The 2.22kWp array was made up with 12 x 185 Sharp monocrystalline panels coupled together with a SMA Sunny Boy Inverter
